During the Hunt for the Northern Lights you experience the best of the Arctic.
Strike the following off your bucket list:
We’re going into the winter nature of northern Sweden for a week. Here you get to know winter expeditions and sled dog tours. We’re going to Jukkasjärvi in Sweden; in the middle of Swedish Lapland. Far above the polar circle and plagued by the midwinter darkness and blessed with the midsummer sun.
When we’re there the sun goes down at seven o’clock in the evening and only comes back at six o’clock. Time enough to hunt for the Northern Lights. You will not receive any guarantees on seeing the Northern Lights. However we are the ideal conditions. Above the polar circle and in the winter when it is dark.
Led by Henk-Jan Geel we enter the winter landscape. Fully in expedition style.
You get the full winter expedition equipment on loan. Skis, sleeping bags, tent. With the team we will enjoy 6 days and 5 nights together and endure the winter cold of Sweden. An experience that stays with you for the rest of your life. Guaranteed.
The first and the last night we sleep in a hotel in Kiruna.
We spend three nights in an expedition tent.
Two nights we sleep in a wilderness hut.
The journey can begin when you register with at least 5 people. If there are more than 7 participants, an extra guide will be used.
